High wind and heavy rain has caused a number of power outages in the Tri Counties.
Nova Scotia Power is reporting over 1600 customers lost service in Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby Counties.
NSP estimates power will be restored between 10 and 11 this morning.
The largest outage was on Digby Neck affecting 1331 customers.
Service has now been restored.

As of 7am, there were 117 outages affecting 17,409 customers in Nova Scotia.
