–CHICKS WITH STICKS
The ninth annual Chicks With Sticks female minor hockey tournament wrapped up with one Yarmouth team winning a banner.
The Yarmouth Midget Mariners won 4-0 in the gold medal game over the Metro West Force Orange.
In the Peewee Division, the Yarmouth Western Riptide White team had a good showing but could not reach the final. That division was won by the Western Riptide Green squad.
The Yarmouth Western Riptide White Atom team lost 5-0 to Valley in the Atom division final.
The Bantam banner was won by the Pictou County Subway Selects.
16 teams took part in this year’s tournament.
–BANTAM AA HOCKEY
Wades Wire Traps/Five Star Roofing had two wins on the road this weekend.
Playing in Antigonish against the Antigonish Bulldogs they won both games 6-0 and 5-2.
Game 1, Oct 29
Scoring for Yarmouth was Yannick Cottreau with 2 goals; Hayden Young, Jay Deviller, Brennan Smith and Caelen Wallace each had 1 goal. Donovan Mullen had 2 assists; Teagan Scott, Denver d’Entremont and Zach d’Arcy each had 1 assist. Liam Campbell was in nets facing 14 shots for the 6-0 shut out. Blake Goodwin was named player of the game.
Game 2, Oct 30
Scoring for Yarmouth was Hayden Young and Donovan Mullen with 2 goals each; Yannick Cottreau had one goal. Teagan Scott had 2 assists; Josh Greene and Caelen Wallace each had 1 assist. Charlie Bank was in nets facing 19 shots for the 5-2 win. Donovan Mullen was named player of the game.

Scoring for Yarmouth was Rylan Dentremont a Hat Trick, and Zack Richardson with 1. Assists went to Jared Sanford with 2 and Dominic Higby with 1.

–SPEARS AND MACLEOD PEEWEE AA MARINERS
The Spears and MacLeod PeeWee AA Mariners played 2 away games this weekend vs the West Hants Warriors.
On Saturday, the Mariners came away with a 5-4 win, with 2 goals from Seamus d’Entremont and 1 goal each from Orren Hatfield, Cameron Kerr and Spencer Surette.
Sundays game was a 7-4 win for the Mariners, with 2 goals from Spencer Surette and Seamus d’Entremont, and 1 goal from Connor Prouty, Cameron Brown, and Jesse Amiro.
Colby Saulnier was in net for both wins.
The Spears and MacLeod PeeWee AA Mariners are still undefeated this season, with a 7-0 record.

Chris Scott Construction Yarmouth Mariners Atom AA tied Cumberland Ramblers Saturday 6-6. Goal scorers were Jared Pitman (3), Max D’Arcy, Koen Shand and Sam Hope.
On Sunday they played again and tied 4-4. Goal scorers were Jared Pitman (2), Drew Muise, Russell Pinksen.
Blake Fish was in net.
