Look for a period of messy precipitation tonight.
Environment Canada says a low pressure system is going to develop tonight over the eastern seaboard and intensify as it tracks
across New Brunswick on Wednesday.
It will bring with it a mix of ice pellets and freezing rain before it changes to rain overnight.
Right now forecasters expect a brief period of freezing rain before the change-over to rain. 20 millimetres are forecast.
Special weather statement in effect from @environmentca . EMO will post any warnings that are issued. #nsstorm

The forecaster says if the track of this system changes, there is a possibility of a prolonged period of freezing rain or possibly higher rainfall.
