The HOPE Centre in Yarmouth has found a temporary home.
The owner of the former C.J. O’Hanley building on Main Street is letting the organization use a section of that building.
HOPE was flooded out of their location on Main Street yesterday after water pipes burst over the weekend, and their new building won’t be ready for a few months.
Coordinator Linda Vickery says some volunteers showed up yesterday to help load items into a cube van.
Now they need some help unloading.
“We are starting to move our things in this afternoon, so any volunteers that want to come help they are more than welcome.”
She also says all their records for the HOPE Centre Vehicle Lottery are intact and were not damaged.
