A project to raise awareness on the subject of sexual violence will take place in Yarmouth next weekend.
The Clothesline Project in Frost Park will be held on Saturday April 30 from 2-4pm.
Citizens are encouraged to bring a shirt to hang on the line with messages against sexual violence written on them.
The event is coordinated through Youth Truth Matters, part of the Tri-County Women’s Centre.

Kirsta Morris with the Tri-County Women’s Centre says about 150 youth across Southwestern Nova Scotia have joined Youth Truth Matters since 2010.
Morris says sexual violence is a serious issue that needs more attention.
