No injuries after a small fishing vessel caught fire in Yarmouth harbour.
Yarmouth fire chief Mike Deveau says they were called to Lobster Rock Wharf just after 9 a.m.
He says a Coast Guard vessel towed it to the wharf.
“Once tied up, we pulled alongside the boat, extinguished the fire and rescued a person who was in the sleeping area of the boat, then continued to work on the fire,” said Deveau.
He says the cause was heat from the smoke stack.
RCMP and EHS were also on scene.
