In November, 2022, we donated $35,000 to the seven local food banks in the Tri-Counties!
January 2021 we donated $10,000 to the Yarmouth Splash Park Building Fund.
We also donated $5,000 to the “Coldest Night of the Year” Fundraiser to support SHYFT House and Tri-County Women’s Center.
In 2021 we donated a total of $250,000 to worthy causes in the Tri Counties!
In December 2021 we donated a total of $20,000 to local Food Banks, $10,000 to the Digby Hospital Foundation, and $10,000 to the VON.
In August 2021 we donated $5,000 to the 55+ Games, being held in the Tri Counties in September.
In July 2021 we donated $1,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
In June 2021, we donated a total of $13,000 to Roseway Hospital in Shelburne. That was from the Lockeport branch of the Betterment Society ($3,000) and from the Barrington Branch ($10,000).
The Barrington Branch also gave $2500 to the Clark’s Harbour School Meal Program.
We also donated $20,000 in total to the region’s Foodbanks – giving $2500 to eight in the Tri Counties.
Also in June we gave $5,000 to the Student Assist Food Exchange (S.A.F.E) Program. This program provides access to fresh food boxes to TCRCE families requiring assistance throughout the summer months and supports the healthy growth and development of all students.
In March 2021, we proudly donated $10,000 to the Eel Brook & District Fire Department, to support their efforts to build a new Fire Hall.
In January 2021, we proudly donated $5,000 to SHYFT House and their “Coldest Night of the Year” Fundraiser in support of the hungry, homeless and hurting.
In February 2021, we proudly donated $50,000 to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation We Care Radiothon.
In 2020 Tri County Betterment Radio Bingo gave 90 Thousand Dollars to charities in the region.
