A busy day of campaigning for Nova Scotia’s three main party leaders.
Zach Churchill and the Liberals unveiled their full election platform, including tax cuts, building new homes, and re-thinking how healthcare is delivered.
The Liberals say they want to stop Tim Houston’s efforts to double the population.
Meanwhile, the Progressive Conservatives promised lowering the down-payment for first time home-buyers to two percent.
Leader Tim Houston says it would apply for homes up to half-a-million dollars, and make home ownership more accessible.
In Halifax, NDP leader Claudia Chender announced her party’s plan to give an affordable homes rebate to Nova Scotians.
Chender says it would save people that make less than $70,000 per household around $900 on their rent or mortgage.
The election is just over three weeks away.

Today, I’m proud to announce our plan to save thousands of households an average of $900/year on rent or mortgage payments. This is the first step. The @NSNDP is working to ensure everyone has an affordable home.
