The best in Yarmouth business will be celebrated once again.
The 17th annual Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce Business Awards will be handed out at Mariners Centre Thursday night.
There are awards for large and small businesses, entrepreneurs, community impact and more.
Kerry Muise with the chamber board says they’ll have a special guest speaker this year.
“Premier Tim Houston has caught the attention of our business awards, and he’s going to be our keynote speaker. We’re very excited about that. We’ll also have an update on doctor recruitment from our community navigator, Nancy Ellis,” said Muise.
Muise says it’s the largest show in Nova Scotia, and it’s always held during Small Business Week.
“We’re very proud of that, and we love celebrating and recognizing what small business brings to our area.”
