A chance to see the Yarmouth Mariners before next week’s season opener.
They’re hosting the Valley Wildcats Friday night at 7 in an exhibition game.
Head Coach and GM Laurie Barron says fans should see a regular season line-up.
“We’re now down to 24 players. Our practices have been great, camp has been fun, the guys got to do some teambuilding activities, we’re pleased with how it’s going,” said Barron.
He says more rookies will dress in Saturday night’s game in Berwick.
The regular season opens one week from tonight, as the Mariners host Pictou County.
Barron says the Eastlink South Division looks competitive.
“It’s going to be a strong year in this division, and the standings will be tight. Every game, all 52 of them in the regular season is going to matter.”
