It’s become a tradition on Wharf Rat Rally weekend.
Dozens of motorcyclists will ride from Digby to Yarmouth on Saturday, in honour of veteran Darren Williams.
The bikes will park at the Maple Grove Afghanistan War Memorial.
Organizer Andre Boudreau says they’ll arrive around noon.
“They’ll make a donation to Rally Point Retreat in Sable River, which helps veterans with PTSD. After that we’ll do a small remembrance service and lay a wreath,” said Boudreau.
Master Cpl. Williams started the ride years ago, he passed away in a motorcycle accident in Ontario in 2015.
Boudreau says the event honours him, and continues to recognize all veterans who fought in Afghanistan.
The motorcycles will leave Digby around 11 a.m. and travel down Highway 1.
