The Town of Yarmouth wants to hear your ideas on a make-over of the South Playground.
Council is hosting a public meeting Wednesday night at the old South Centennial School.
Mayor Pam Mood says they’ve earmarked $80,000 for the park.
“Everything can be put on the table. Are you looking for a stage, new swings, a washroom, or anything we haven’t thought of? We want to hear things that are important to the community,” said Mayor Mood.
The town says vandalism has taken its toll on the site, and two buildings are being removed.
Mood adds they want to see a big turnout and lots of fresh ideas.
Wednesday’s meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
