It looks like Debby is heading further away from the Atlantic coast.
Environment Canada is tracking the Tropical Storm, and says it should miss most of the Maritimes when it heads north this weekend.
Meteorologist Bob Robichaud says the track has shifted over the last 24 hours.
“Most of whatever we get from this would be during the day on Saturday. That would be gusty winds, but nothing that would approach warning criteria,” said Robichaud.
He says they’re becoming more confident that Debby will roll through Quebec.
“There’s a little bit less uncertainty than there was earlier in the week. We’re able to see more clearly with timing and exactly how those steering curves are going to bring the storm towards us.”
Robichaud says we could still get some showers as well.
