A man is facing several charges after fleeing from police and driving onto a golf course in Clare.
It happened Wednesday morning, as RCMP attempted a traffic stop in Church Point when they found a truck with no license plate.
The 32-year-old man from Meteghan then fled, and drove at high speed through a golf course and into the woods.
The truck was later found abandoned at the end of the golf course.
Thursday morning, the man was found and arrested at a residence in Comeauville.
Police say alcohol was a factor.
He appeared in Annapolis Provincial Court and was released on conditions.
