Soccer will be on millions of Canadian televisions tonight.
It’s being called Canada’s biggest game ever on the men’s world stage.
They’re taking on world number one Argentina in the Copa America semifinal in New Jersey.
Nova Scotians are invested in one of their own, Jacob Shaffelburg.
He scored Canada’s lone-goal in their quarterfinal win over Venezuela on Friday.
A watch party is planned in his home community of Port Williams tonight at Wayfarers Ale.
Canada is the 48th ranked team in the world, so a win would be a big upset.
Argentina beat Canada 2-0 in the group stage.
Lionel Messi, one of the world’s top players will play for Argentina, he had been questionable with a leg injury.
Game time is 9 p.m.
