Traditions continue for Canada Day in Yarmouth.
The town will ring in our country’s 157th birthday with entertainment on the waterfront and games at the South-end playground.
The opening ceremony goes at 11:30 on Killam’s Wharf, followed by a cake cutting and live music and dancing throughout the day.
Fireworks will be shot off over Yarmouth harbour starting at 10 p.m.
The annual Kids Carnival and BBQ is happening at the playground from 11-3.
There will be games and a chance to win prizes.
The HOPE Centre is also holding a free breakfast at 9 a.m.
