Lifeguards are training for the summer season.
The Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service says more than 80 lifeguards are in intensive, four-day training camps.
They’re happening at Brigadoon Village and Aylesford Lake.
Paul D’Eon with the service says they’re hoping for another safe season and preparing staff for any incident that could occur.
They’ll be doing mock water rescues, running, swimming and board rescues.
Twenty-four beaches will be supervised starting this Saturday.
