Lots of infrastructure upgrades for Digby and Annapolis counties.
The province giving $3.23 million to these projects.
They include widened sidewalks for Meteghan Centre and an extension to safely get to the new Villa-Acadienne long-term care facility.
The Town of Digby will get back-up generators to keep wastewater running during power outages.
Bear River’s water system will be expanded to improve access to safe drinking water.
MLA Jill Balser says the upgrades will help support local businesses and residents with water safety and accessibility.
