A major milestone for a business in Barrington Passage.
Wilson’s Home Hardware is celebrating their 100th anniversary.
Owner Mike Wilson says it’s incredible to experience this with the team.
“A lot of appreciation to a lot of people over the course of the last 100 years, and to everyone who has supported the business. We’re feeling a lot of gratitude and very fortunate,” said Wilson.
As part of the celebration, the first ever drone-light show in Nova Scotia will take place Friday night.
Wilson says it should be visible from anywhere in Barrington, as 80 drones will light up the night sky.
There are also activities planned through the day Saturday.
Wilson says the customers are the centre of the business.
“If you don’t understand people, you can’t understand business. We live by that cornerstone on a regular basis, and there’s no substitute for hard work. We feel appreciative to our customers, and we’ll continue to try and add value to the South Shore as much as we can.”
