A Nova Scotian had her name called at the PWHL Draft.
New Minas’ Mae Batherson was selected by Minnesota in the sixth round, 33rd overall.
Batherson had been playing defense for St. Lawrence University in the NCAA.
She is the younger sister of Ottawa Senators forward Drake Batherson.
What a moment for Mae Batherson. 🤩
