The Cape Breton Eagles are on the clock for the QMJHL Draft.
They hold the first overall pick in Friday’s first round in Moncton.
The Eagles are coming off their first trip to the semifinals in 17 years, and will add the best player available to their lineup.
The Halifax Mooseheads have traded away big names like Dylan MacKinnon and Markus Vidicek to Moncton as they stockpile draft picks.
Halifax doesn’t currently have a pick in the opening round.
