The Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame class of 2024 has been announced.
Two athletes from North Preston headline the inductees, boxer Kirk Johnson and CFL defensive back Dwayne Provo.
Olympic paddler Leslie-Anne Young of Sackville, Vanier Cup quarterback Jamie Bone of Halifax will also enter the hall.
Dartmouth hockey coach Danny Flynn and Shelburne’s Dr. Tina Atkinson will go in as builders.
The 1990 Acadia Axewomen soccer team are also being inducted.
The ceremony is this November.
