A major wind-farm project could soon be coming to the Municipality of Argyle.
The Wedgeport Wind Farm Project is the subject of a public participation meeting Thursday night.
Warden Danny Muise says residents will hear a presentation and have a chance to ask questions.
“It will be live-streamed. We’ll be set up at the municipal building in Tusket, as well as the Wedgeport Fire Hall for 6:30 p.m.” says Muise.
The project involves over a dozen 200 metre tall turbines to be installed in Upper Wedgeport, Little River Harbour and Comeau’s Hill.
The province gave environmental approval to the project earlier this year.
Council will make a final decision in the new year.
