The Yarmouth Dairy Queen 13U AA Gateways were in Summerside PEI over the weekend to take part in the SABA Invitational.
In a rain filled weekend, they ended up going 4-0 and winning the Championship on Sunday against the Stratford A’s by a score of 12-2

Game 1 – Yarmouth beats the Stratford A’s 20-7. Player of the game was Grady Shand
Game 2 – Yarmouth beats the Western Mariners 15-0. Player of the game was Hudson Newell going the distance, with home runs by Crue Nickerson and Dyson Ogden to lead the offense
Game 3 – Yarmouth beats the Capital District Islanders 15-0. Player of the game was Taylor Stoddart. Both Taylor Stoddart and Dyson Ogden combined for the no hitter.
Game 4 – Championship game – Yarmouth beats the Stratford A’s to win the championship by a score of 12-2. Player of the game was Rogan O’Connell who went the distance.

The Yarmouth Chris Scott Construction 15UAA Gateways had a doubleheader on Saturday against the Tri-County Rangers at Mariners Field.
The Gateways lost the first game 11-6 but ended up winning game two 7-3.
The Gateways currently hold onto 1st place in the Bluenose League in the 15U AA division.
