Cohen Stoddard of Clark’s Harbour was drafted into the QMJHL on Saturday.
He was taken in the seventh round by the Rimouski Oceanic.
Stoddard, who turns 16 in August, played net for the South Shore Mustangs in the NS U18 league this season.
He also represented the province at the Canada Winter Games in February.
