As a kid , watching Sesame Street was a daily routine and a huge part of growing up. The influence that show has on us as kids was increasable , from the food we ate to the songs we could sing along to and of coarse the education value ! .. Let me not forget the many characters like Oscar / cookie monster / big bird and many many others .
It was on this day 53 years ago, November 10th 1969 that people first heard the song “Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street”!
“Sesame Street Day” is all about saluting the 1969 debut of the landmark children’s TV show on PBS. It was the first preschool educational TV show to base its contents on laboratory research.
