Team Canada will play their 2023 World Junior preliminary round games in Halifax.
They’ll be joined by Sweden, Czechia, Germany and Austria in Group A.
The city is co-hosting the event with Moncton this December.
Moncton will get Team USA, Finland, Slovakia, Switzerland and Latvia in Group B.
No word yet on medal round games.
Tickets are going on sale later this month, and the IIHF says nearly 50,000 fans have entered a priority draw for tickets.
