The ‘Ex with all the extras’ is back tomorrow in Yarmouth.
The Western Nova Scotia Exhibition is on at Mariners Centre for the first time in three years.
President Darren Watkins says planning came together thanks to the hard work of the Agricultural Society, but they weren’t able to get the midway scheduled.
He says Yarmouth Big Bounce will still be there with bouncy castles for the kids.
“We’ve also got laser tag and virtual reality. We tried to compensate for not having the midway, we realize that is probably a disappointment, but we will work to get that back in the future,” says Watkins.
Watkins says there will be ox hauls and horse competitions outside, with music, vendors and entertainment inside.
He says it’s been a challenging few years through COVID.
“We’ve been trying to plan the exhibition for the last three years, and the last two were cancelled because of the pandemic. We had to scramble a bit this year, but we’re happy to have the exhibition back.”
