In this week’s episode: less than a month remains until training camp for the Yarmouth Junior A Mariners. The team has added exciting new players to the roster and plans to have an improved game-day experience for fans. We chat with the assistant coach and co-owner Jared Purdy.
Jakob Postlewaite also speaks with Amy Tudor, a whale-watching guide and photographer with Mariner Cruises, about a whale recently spotted off Port Maitland Beach and about whale watching in our area. And Ben Holmes talks to Fito de la Parra, the drummer from the band Canned Heat, on their tour and performing at Woodstock 69.
The Weekender is an award-winning news program produced by Y95 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
