Municipal boundary reviews are being conducted in many areas of Nova Scotia.
The Utility and Review Board mandates that a review of polling districts and the amount of elected officials be done every eight years.
Public feedback is being requested by the Town of Yarmouth.
Mayor Pam Mood says she’d like to see it remain as six councillors plus the Mayor.
“Everything is running smoothly, we’re all elected at large, which means the town elects seven people, and seven people can look after all your questions and concerns,” says Mood.
You can submit feedback to the ‘Get Involved’ Yarmouth site until August 5th.
Mood says a report to the UARB will then be submitted.
The last review happened in 2014.
