Crews are starting to arrive to set-up for the Yarmouth Rotary Ribfest.
It’s happening this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Mariners Centre.
Five rib trucks will return, and there’s lots of entertainment lined up.
Co-Chair of the Ribfest Committee Linda Deveau says proceeds are going to food and security in the Tri-Counties.
“We do Meals on Wheels, we’re involved with the town’s 100 Meals, we give to the food bank as well. There’s lots of opportunities to support food and security in our area,” says Deveau.
Admission is free, but there is a parking fee of two dollars, that will go to Yarmouth County Ground Search and Rescue.
Deveau says there will be East Coast Kitchen Party, Acadian and Country themed days.
“We have the top ribbers in North America coming. We have five of them coming. Remember, it’s a cash only festival, but we do have ATM machines on site.”
