The Sherose Island Schooners got two big victories over the first place Pictou County Albions over the weekend.
In the first game, Stefan Newell pitched a gem as the Schooners edged the Albions 2-1.
Sherose Island scored 11 runs in the second game, and Dylan Spinney allowed just one run over five innings.
The Schooners have the upcoming weekend off before hitting the road for games against Amherst on July 16th and 17th.
