The Bluenose II is back in Yarmouth.
The vessel will be able to welcome visitors on deck this year.
Captain Phil Watson says they had to wave to people at the Cape Forchu Lighthouse the last two years because of COVID restrictions.
“It’s lovely to be back at the wharf, and it’s great to be back for the Travel Media Association of Canada conference. We’re going to welcome them on-board this evening,” says Watson.
Tomorrow, the decks will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. for two hours.
Watson says locals and tourists love the Bluenose.
“We meet the tourists that we’ve hopefully enticed to come here, but we’re also bringing the history back to Nova Scotians.”
The ship will set sail for Shelburne on Friday morning.
Tomorrow we set sail for Yarmouth & the @TravelMediaCA conference!
