The Sherose Island Traps Schooners hosted Amherst for three games on the weekend in Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League play. Amherst won 3-1 on Saturday night. The first game on Sunday was a 5-3 Amherst victory, but the Schooners won the second game 3-2. The Schooners are 2-3 on the young season.
The Yarmouth Chris Scott Construction 15U A Gateways played a doubleheader on Saturday against the Clarks Harbour Foggies. The Gateways won the first game 14-7, then rallied from three down to win 12-8 in Game 2
The Yarmouth U13 Gateways won twice against Bridgewater in Bluenose League play, 11-4 and 10-5.
The Yarmouth U11 Gateways played a doubleheader in Bridgewater on Sunday, and won both games 10-4 and 18-5.
