A runner from Yarmouth took part in the 126th Boston Marathon yesterday.
Shawn Muise ran the race with a time of just over three hours and 45 minutes.
Muise was competing in the male 45-49 age division.
Denise Robson of Halifax, who has family ties to Yarmouth, ran the race in just over two hours and 57 minutes.
She placed first in the female 50-54 age division and was among the top 200 women across the finish line.
