The Southwest Storm took a 2-1 series lead in their Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey League final yesterday.
Zach Darcy and Caelan Wallace scored in the third, as the Storm beat East Hants 4-3 in Game 3 of their series at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool.
Brady Nickerson and Zack Richardson also scored, and Tyson Peters made 30 saves for the win.
This followed up an entertaining Game 2 of the series at the East Hants Sportsplex on Saturday, which was won by the Penguins 2-1 in double-overtime.
Game 4 of the best of seven series goes this Friday night at 8:15 in Liverpool.
