With restrictions lifted, a local arts centre is looking forward to putting on productions again.
Th’YARC Playhouse on Parade Street in Yarmouth has lots of shows on the way, beginning next month.
They’ve put on limited shows with restrictions over the past two years, but many out of town acts had to cancel or postpone performances.
Acting Manager Judy Snow says she’s hopeful for 2022.
“We’ve had a good response so far with ticket sales. We hope to see that parking lot full, we hope people come and enjoy the shows. We’re just happy to have them back,” says Snow.
Their first event is ventriloquist Michael Harrison on April 23rd.
Th’YARC will also host the Stanfields, Abba Revisited and Sean McCann this summer.
Snow says many shows that were postponed are now being re-booked.
“As well as some new artist that are now reaching out to us, so hopefully 2022 is going to be a great year.”
