The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners gained a point against the top-ranked Summerside Western Capitals, falling 4-3 in overtime last night.
Sam Gillis had two goals for Yarmouth, including the tying goal on the powerplay in the third period. Reilly Mayne also scored, and Christophe Beluse made 38 saves in the OT loss.
The point helped Yarmouth clinch first in the Eastlink South Division for the fifth straight year.

They next play Valley on the road Saturday.
Two home games from last weekend have been rescheduled, Monday they’ll host Fredericton and Tuesday the Mariners welcome Pictou County in their final regular season game.
The postponed game scheduled for March 12th between @FRedWingsHockey and @MarinersHockey at Mariners Centre has been rescheduled for Monday, March 21st at 7:30 p.m.
