Some Western Counties Regional Library branches are carrying free COVID-19 rapid testing kits.
The take home kits were being distributed as of yesterday.
Only one kit per-person is allowed, and social distancing and masks must be worn while in the library.
In a post on their website, the library says they’ll do their best to keep the branches stocked.
Kits are currently available in Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby, along with Weymouth, Meteghan, Pubnico, Barrington and Clark’s Harbour.
The Westport Library will have kits tomorrow, and Lockeport will receive them Friday.
Parents Place in Yarmouth says they also have rapid test kits to give out, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Starting today, our library branches in Digby, Weymouth, Meteghan, Yarmouth, Pubnico, Barrington, Clark's Harbour & Shelburne have COVID-19 rapid test kits available near the entrance of the branch during open hours. Westport will have them available as of Thursday, March 10. pic.twitter.com/5QS2bSg6Xx
