Tri-County Regional Centre for Education schools in Digby County are closed today, as clean-up continues from Saturday’s winter storm.
Over 30 centimetres of snow fell in most areas, and high winds created power outages, blowing snow and drifts.
RCMP advised people to stay off the roads during the storm.
TRAVEL ADVISORY: Poor (and in many cases miserable) driving conditions with whiteouts on most #NovaScotia hwys and roads, esp. HWY #104 north of Oxford and HWY #101. Pls. avoid travel if possible.
