On Sunday, the Mariners beat West Colchester 4-3. The Western Riptides U18 Girls defeated Fundy 5-3 on the weekend. Tierney Shieffer had two goals, Isabella d’Entremont, Mercedes Melanson and Sara Croft also scored. Karli MacDonald, Renee Melanson, Tierney Shieffer and Sophia Hatt had assists. The Riptides fell 2-0 to Metro East Inferno Sunday.
The U13 Western Riptides won both games in Antigonish on the weekend over Quad County, 14-1 Saturday and 15-1 Sunday. On Saturday, Morgan Corkum had a hat-trick, Shaylie Smith, Abby Smith, Sydney Reddick, Eva MacAlpine and Brooke Boudreau each scored twice. Ellie Tunnicliff also scored. Sunday, Abby Smith scored four goals, Alya Belliveau and Shaylie Smith each had hat-tricks, Brooke Boudreau, Eva MacAlpine, Jaida Cann and Zoey Churchill added goals.
