Municipality of Clare crest
Unofficial results are in for the District 7 Special Election in the Municipality of Clare.
Voting took place online and in-person on Saturday.
Nadine Comeau was elected with 265 votes, followed by Leon Dugas with 148, Reanne Titus with 79 and Kevin Comeau had 48 votes.
Voter participation was 61 per cent.
The official count will be completed by the Municipality tomorrow.
Comeau will replace Ronnie LeBlanc, who was the Warden in Clare. He was elected as the new MLA for Clare in August.
Council will soon meet to choose a new Warden.
