The Wade’s Wire Traps U15 AA Mariners tied South Shore on Saturday. Boston Aldred had two goals and Ashton Samms also scored. Assists went to Max Gates, Callum Longmire, Sawyer Kristensen, Lexx d’Entremont and Ashton Samms. Rylan LeBlanc got the win in goal. On Sunday, Yarmouth lost 7-3 in Lunenburg to South Shore. Boston Aldred with two goals again, and a goal from Lexx d’Entremont with an assist. Ashton Samms, Brock Orde, Callum Longmire also had helpers, and Adam Bowie was in net.
The Pharmasave U13 AA Mariners defeated South Shore 9-3 on Saturday. Dyson Ogden had four goals, Jayden d’Entremont and Ben LeBlanc scored twice, and Jake Sanford had a goal. Samuel Green, Dyson Ogden, Ben LeBlanc and Jayden d’Entremont had assists. On Sunday Yarmouth played West Hants twice. They lost 7-3 in the first game. Dyson Ogden, Brody Symonds and Ben LeBlanc scored, with assists to Samuel d’Eon, Samuel Green, Jake Sanford and Dyson Ogden. In the second game, the Mariners lost 3-1. Dyson Ogden scored with assists to Samuel Green and Ben LeBlanc.
The Culligan Water U13 A Mariners lost 6-4 to Chester on Saturday. Brady Newell had a hat-trick, and Owen Grant also scored. The teams played again Sunday and tied 2-2. Brady Newell and Sebastien Robichaud scored.
The Western Riptide Female U13 team defeated Cape Breton twice, 8-0 Saturday and 10-1 yesterday. On Saturday, Camryn Vacon had hat-trick, Shaylie Smith, Brooke Boudreau, Jaida Cann, Danica Deveau and Eva MacAlpine had goals. Sunday, Sydney Reddick and Jaida Cann each had two goals, Shaylie Smith, Cloe Comeau, Eva MacAlpine, Brooke Boudreau, Camryn Vacon and Abby Smith also scored.
