In the Valley High School Hockey League: the YCMHS Vikings defeated Barrington 2-1 Sunday at Mariners Centre. Daniel Kenny scored the winner in the third period, and Jaleel Horton had the other goal. Owen Penney scored for the Barons. Brady Saulnier got the win in goal.
The Pharmasave U13 AA Mariners played twice on the weekend. On Saturday, they lost 7-3 to West Hants. Jayden d’Entremont scored twice and Samuel Green had the other goal. Assists went to Ben LeBlanc and Taylor Stoddart. Sunday, the Mariners defeated Western Valley 5-3. Dyson Ogden, Olivier d’Eon and Ben LeBlanc scored, with assists to Samuel d’Eon, Xavier LeBlanc, Tye Williams and Jayden d’Entremont.
