Dr. Chris Boulter, Regional Executive Director of Education for the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education
The Regional Executive Director of Education of the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education is moving on from the role.
Dr. Chris Boulter will be the Executive Director of Education, Innovation, Programs and Services for the Department of Education.
He’s been in the Tri-Counties for nearly three years, and says he’s enjoyed serving the area.
“Everyone is so supportive of education here, and want the best for children, which is why we’re here. We support students and families on their journey as learners and as citizens,” says Dr. Boulter.
Dr. Boulter says the pandemic has required a great deal of flexibility, and being able to adapt and change on the fly.
He says staff, students and families faced many challenges, including at-home learning and wearing masks in schools, and he’s appreciative of their efforts.
“I’m appreciative of the families who trust us with the education and well-being of their children everyday.”
Jared Purdy, the current Director of Programs and Student Services, will become the acting Regional Executive Director of Education.
