It looks like a wet and blustery final week of October.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for southern Nova Scotia.
They say significant rain and wind is expected, around 50 millimetres from Tuesday evening to Thursday morning.
They add that wind gusts could reach 100 kilometres an hour in some areas.
Rain will be at its heaviest on Tuesday evening into the overnight hours with strong easterly winds.
Environment Canada says there is still some uncertainty in the track of the low pressure system, and wind warnings may be required.
