There are a couple of events happening as part of Waste Reduction Week.
Yard Sales are a great way to reduce waste! There will be a Giant Yard Sale in support of the Yarmouth Splash Park at the Mariners Centre Parking Lot this Saturday from 10am – 2pm. The rain date is Sunday.
Also October 19 from 3:00pm – 7:30pm Waste Check & Digby Minor Hockey are holding an Ice Sport Equipment Swap.
We ask that people come and bring equipment to swap, donate any equipment not being used or come see if there is anything that they need to be able to participate in an Ice Sport.
Location: Digby Arena, 27 Shreve St., Digby
And October 22 from 10:00am – 3:00pm Waste Check and the Mariners Centre will be holding an Ice Sport Equipment Swap.
