Good Morning !
Fall has most certainly come to the Tri Counties in Full Color this year, with the light winds lately to keep the leaves on the trees and the cool morning temperatures to aid in the color .
In my blog this morning I have included some Fall shots from a good friend and local photographer ” Frankie Crowell ”
Frankie is from the Woods Harbour Area and can be found with camera in hand at many events and locations snapping shots throughout the Tri County area .
The photo’s in this blog were taken in Shelburne County by Frankie Crowell .
Why do the leaves change color ?
( esf.edu) Basically because of changes in the length of daylight and changes in temperature, the leaves stop their food-making process. The chlorophyll breaks down, the green color disappears, and the yellow to orange colors become visible and give the leaves part of their fall splendor. Click HERE for more info on color change .
On a scale of 1 to 10 what do you rate the fall colors in your neighborhood ?
10 being excellent
1 being almost bare
let me know on the Facebook link.
