The Sherose Island Schooners defeated the Pictou County Albions 5-1 on Sunday to win the 2021 NSIBL championship.
Keith Nickerson pitched a complete game to earn game MVP honours.
The Schooners were taking part in a four team tournament in Amherst to crown the league champion, where they went 3-0 overall.
Sherose Island went 11-9 in the regular season to finish in second place.
Once again, Stefan Newell was named league MVP, he also took home the honour in 2019.
