Today is McHappy Day at McDonalds . When you buy a coffee, fries , burger , nuggets or whatever menu item you choose a portion of the proceeds from ALL menu items will go to our local RMH located in Halifax .
Since it’s inception in 1977 , McHappy Day has helped Ronald McDonald House Charity support more than 425,000 families across Canada.
Today, 1 in 4 Canadians has either stayed at Ronald McDonald House or know someone who has.
The RMH in Halifax currently accommodates up to 18 residents but that is about to change. A NEW Ronald McDonald House is set to be built in Halifax and is scheduled to break ground Next Spring ! This NEW House will double the number of bedrooms , from 18 to 36 for families in need .
